Enough time has elapsed since the 992 GT3 RS first came out for plenty of drivers—both local and afar—to sample what Porsche’s latest-gen rear-engined specialist has on tap. The most obvious and sensible venue for this to take place has invariably been at the race track. Here, the car has made an instant impact, setting new benchmarks and delighting drivers along the way. There’s no doubt that the 992 GT3 RS is—at least for now—Porsche’s most capable high-performance production car, and by some distance too. The latest Manthey version takes things up another notch.
