As we crest over the past and foray into a new era, a car like the 2007 Porsche 911 GT3 becomes an increasingly memorialized figure within Porsche’s incredibly storied history. That sentiment is particularly heightened today, with hybridization now taking center stage in the 911 discourse. Electrically-powered drivetrains in the quintessential flagship model are not only incoming—they’re already here. Of course, that’s not to say that the new cars are inherently bad, as they’re objectively and measurably superior in all the ways they’re intended to be.
