Introduction
Having watched this particular car race at the age of ten, you can imagine the excitement I felt when given the chance to fully document it for its current owner. Much time was spent tracking down period photographs of its debut at the Sebring 12 hours in 1977. Then, a lucky break led to the discovery of what is probably the only existing film footage of the car racing that same weekend. Combine that imagery with an interview with one of its original drivers, and I had all that I needed to create a short documentary on a fantastic chapter in Porsche’s history.
