FOR SALE: 2019 Porsche 911 Speedster

Number 240 of just 1,948 examples produced worldwide

Listed for sale on Collecting Cars, this 2019 Porsche 911 Speedster is a rare, driver-focused interpretation of the 991-generation 911, combining naturally aspirated performance, a six-speed manual transmission, and distinctive styling inspired by Porsche’s earliest sports cars. Number 240 of just 1,948 examples produced worldwide, this Spanish-market car is now located in Italy and displays 4,956 kilometres.

The modern Speedster lineage traces its roots to the 1954 Porsche 356 Speedster, a lightweight open-top model that helped establish the marque’s reputation for combining performance with purposeful design. For the 991 generation, Porsche revisited several defining characteristics, including a shortened, steeply raked windshield and sculpted rear streamliners behind the seats. Gold Speedster script on the streamliners and instrument dials featuring green numerals and white needles further reinforce the connection to the original 356. First revealed as a concept in 2018 to celebrate Porsche’s 70th anniversary, the production model retained these signature details while incorporating contemporary engineering.

Power comes from a 4.0-litre naturally aspirated flat-six engine, driving the rear wheels through a six-speed manual gearbox. This configuration gives the Speedster a distinctly traditional character, pairing high-revving engine performance with direct driver involvement. Its open-top bodywork and reduced windshield height distinguish it from the standard 911 Cabriolet, while the manual transmission reinforces its focus on an engaging driving experience.

The exterior is finished in Racing Yellow, complemented by satin-black 20-inch centre-lock alloy wheels. Yellow brake callipers sit behind the wheels, with Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes providing the stopping power. Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres complete the performance-oriented package.

Inside, the black leather-trimmed cabin features contrasting yellow stitching, embroidered Speedster lettering on the headrests, and brushed aluminium-effect and carbon-fibre trim. Equipment includes 18-way electrically adjustable heated comfort seats, a front-axle lift system, black LED headlights, electrically adjustable dampers, and a switchable exhaust system. Additional amenities comprise cruise control, a reversing camera, dual-zone climate control, Bose audio, and Porsche Communication Management with satellite navigation and Bluetooth. An Auto Blip system assists with rev-matched downshifts, while an electrically operated rear spoiler adds further functionality.

The seller states that the car comes with its accompanying documentation and two keys. With its limited production, distinctive Racing Yellow finish, low indicated mileage, and naturally aspirated engine paired with a manual gearbox, this 991-generation Speedster represents a particularly characterful expression of Porsche’s modern collector-focused sports cars.
