A highly bespoke interpretation of the air-cooled Porsche 911, the 1991 Porsche 911 Reimagined by Singer “Four Seas Commission” is set to cross the block at RM Sotheby’s with an estimated value of $1.3 million to $1.5 million.
Completed by Singer Vehicle Design in February 2023, the commission represents an exceptionally detailed build centered on performance engineering, craftsmanship, and everyday drivability. Finished in striking NATO Green over Monument Valley leather upholstery, the car showcases Singer’s signature fusion of classic Porsche aesthetics with modern motorsport-inspired enhancements.
Power comes from Singer’s coveted 4.0-liter “Motorsports” flat-six, developed in collaboration with Porsche Motorsport North America. Built to Singer’s exact specifications, the naturally aspirated engine features an upgraded crankshaft, Porsche Motorsport oil pump, revised valve lash settings, and optimized cooling performance for improved durability and high-rpm stability. Widely regarded as the most potent engine offered within Singer’s Classic Services program, it sends power to all four wheels through a six-speed manual transmission.
The chassis specification is equally focused, pairing Öhlins adjustable suspension with Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes for exceptional road and track capability. A titanium exhaust system and ceramic plenum inlet further elevate both performance and responsiveness. Singer’s lightweight carbon-fiber bodywork, including a carbon roof, is finished without exterior graphics, allowing details such as nickel-finished bumperettes, decklid lettering, and RS wheel centers to stand out subtly.
Inside, the cabin blends vintage Porsche cues with contemporary luxury. Carbon bucket seats, olive velour carpeting, a satin mahogany shift knob, and NATO Green-accented gauges reinforce the driver-centric atmosphere. Modern usability is integrated through Porsche Classic Navigation with Apple CarPlay, a premium Audison and Dynaudio audio system, and a discreet rearview camera concealed within the driver’s sun visor.
Protected by full-body paint protection film and showing only 250 kilometers since completion, the Four Seas Commission represents one of the most comprehensively specified examples of Singer’s now-retired Classic Services program.
