Unassuming from a distance, but more peculiar the closer you get, this 2005 Porsche 911 GT3 Clubsport is a really one-off kind of car. For starters, you’ll have to wrap your head around the fact that it’s a left-hand-drive-German-built-rear-engined-sports-car originally domiciled in Japan.
After being imported from Japan in 2024, it now resides in Western Canada having completed its maiden voyage across the Pacific Ocean—conveniently poised for me to have a crack at it, to which I obliged. This sequence of events would not have been possible if this Clubsport—in contrast to the more widely understood definition of its moniker—wasn’t street legal. Ah, but it is!
