Porsche Vibe Seoul 2026 Wows Fans With 70 Historic and Modern Cars

Korea’s first and largest Porsche fan festival concludes with 15,000+ visitors

Porsche brought together 15,000 enthusiasts for the two-day Porsche Vibe Seoul 2026 festival in South Korea, combining historic sports cars, contemporary models, and the Korean premiere of the new Cayenne Coupé Electric. The event also featured a specially commissioned 911 Turbo S Sonderwunsch, highlighting Porsche’s growing emphasis on customer personalization. Held at Seoul’s Oil Tank Culture Park under the theme “All Porsche, One Vibe,” the festival displayed approximately 70 vehicles, including historic models transported from the Porsche Museum in Germany, privately owned cars, and Porsche’s latest electric offerings. According to Porsche Korea, early-bird tickets sold out within three minutes, while general admission tickets also sold out.

The festival’s vehicle collection represented several generations of Porsche engineering and design, from historically significant sports cars to contemporary performance models. Vehicles from the Porsche Museum appeared alongside privately owned examples supplied by members of the Korean Porsche community. The displays also included customized vehicles, illustrating the different ways owners have interpreted the brand’s design and performance heritage.

One of the event’s artistic exhibits was the Porsche Vibe Car, a collaborative project created by artist YOYOJIN and Porsche customers. The vehicle reflected the festival’s broader emphasis on connecting automotive design with contemporary art. The Oil Tank Culture Park provided a distinctive setting for the event. The former industrial site, now associated with Seoul’s cultural activities, served as the backdrop for a gathering that combined automotive history with modern creative expression.

New Porsche Cayenne Coupé Electric Makes Korean Debut

One of the festival’s principal vehicle announcements was the Korean premiere of the new Porsche Cayenne Coupé Electric. The electric SUV coupé incorporates a roofline influenced by the characteristic silhouette of the Porsche 911, combining the brand’s familiar design language with an electric powertrain. At the top of the range, the Cayenne Turbo Coupé Electric delivers up to 1,156 PS with Launch Control activated, according to Porsche.

  • Maximum output: 1,156 PS (with Launch Control)
  • 0–100 km/h: 2.5 seconds (0–62 mph)
  • Top speed: 260 km/h (approximately 162 mph)

These figures position the Turbo Coupé Electric as a high-performance entry in Porsche’s electric vehicle range, with acceleration figures comparable to those associated with dedicated performance cars. Porsche also emphasized the model’s long-distance capabilities and charging convenience, although the event information did not provide battery capacity, driving range, or charging specifications.

Porsche 911 Turbo S Sonderwunsch Highlights Bespoke Personalization

Alongside the electric Cayenne, Porsche presented a Lugano Blue 911 Turbo S created through its Sonderwunsch personalization program. Sonderwunsch, meaning “special request” in German, represents Porsche’s highest level of vehicle personalization. The program allows customers to collaborate with Porsche designers, engineers, and craftspeople on individually commissioned vehicles.

The Lugano Blue 911 Turbo S displayed in Seoul incorporated customer-selected colors, materials, and design details. The project showed how the Sonderwunsch process goes beyond standard factory options to create vehicles tailored to individual owners.

Porsche Community Meetup Attracts 300 Owner Cars

The festival concluded with a Porsche Community Meetup that brought together approximately 500 participants and 300 vehicles. The gathering celebrated two decades of Porsche community activity in Korea, giving owners an opportunity to share their vehicles and experiences.

Beyond the automotive displays, Porsche Vibe Seoul included e-sports competitions, live performances, and activities for children and families. The programming reflected Porsche Korea’s effort to establish the event as a broader gathering for enthusiasts rather than a conventional product presentation. The reported attendance of 15,000 visitors over two days, combined with the rapid sellout of tickets, indicated substantial interest in the festival’s inaugural format.

Porsche Korea Plans KRW 150 Million Charitable Donation

Porsche Korea announced plans to donate KRW 150 million, approximately €100,000 according to the company, from a portion of the event’s ticket proceeds. The donation is intended for Chorogusan through the Porsche Dream Up program, which supports children with talent in the arts and sports.

Why The Hype?

Porsche Vibe Seoul illustrates how the manufacturer is bringing its heritage, owner community, and future product strategy together within a single event. For collectors and long-time enthusiasts, the presence of Porsche Museum vehicles alongside privately owned examples reinforces the connection between the company’s historic models and today’s ownership culture. The Korean debut of the Cayenne Coupé Electric also demonstrates Porsche’s continuing investment in high-performance electrification, while the 911 Turbo S Sonderwunsch highlights the importance of individualization within its premium sports-car business.
