At 15h00 on 10 June 1979, the Kremer Brothers claimed one of the most unexpected victories in the Le Mans 24-Hour race, beating many much larger works teams to the checkered flag with their Porsche 935 K3. This remarkable achievement was made possible by Porsche’s advances in turbocharging technology, first seen in Mark Donohue’s mighty 917/30.
