Singer Vehicle Design introduced its “911 Reimagined by Singer” initiative in 2009, using the 1989–1994 Porsche 964 as the foundation for highly customized, performance-focused reinterpretations of the classic 911. Each project starts with a bare 964 chassis that’s completely rebuilt, fitted with lightweight carbon-fiber body panels, long-hood styling, center-mounted fuel and oil fillers, and thoroughly modernized mechanical components.
The carbon-fiber treatment extends to the fenders, bumpers, hood, roof, and rear decklid. Buyers can choose details such as a hood-mounted fuel cap, rear-quarter oil filler, nickel-plated bumperettes, distinctive Singer badging, and a retractable rear spoiler with a tinted acrylic insert. Additional design touches include bi-xenon headlights, bullet mirrors, and polished brightwork.
Known as the “Oregon Commission,” this 1992 Porsche 911 Carrera 2 Coupe is powered by a naturally aspirated air-cooled flat-six producing 400 horsepower and 325 lb-ft of torque, paired with a six-speed manual gearbox. Performance upgrades include forged 17-inch Fuchs-style wheels, Öhlins adjustable suspension, and Brembo brakes with carbon-ceramic rotors, along with a carbon-fiber roof.
Now offered for sale on Bring a Trailer, the Oregon Commission is finished in Linden Green with a gold Porsche hood crest and raised nickel decklid lettering. The interior is trimmed in Singer’s exclusive Sand Tan leather and suede, extending across the door panels, rear seating area, and bulkhead, with black leather accents on the dash and door caps. Comfort and convenience features include air conditioning, power windows, a Porsche Classic navigation radio, and a 917-inspired laminated wood shift knob.
