The Porsche 911 has once again topped its segment for customer loyalty, earning S&P Global Mobility’s highest model loyalty award in the sports car category for 2025. It is the third consecutive year the iconic model has received the distinction and the tenth time overall since 2001.
The award is based on an analysis of 2025 vehicle registration data, measuring loyalty when households replace an existing vehicle with the same model. Among 15 sports cars evaluated, the 911 recorded the highest rate of repeat ownership.
“The 911 is special to us and to our customers,” said Timo Resch, president and CEO of Porsche Cars North America. “Its unique combination of exhilaration, everyday usability, and raw performance creates an experience owners never forget. We are grateful to our loyal customers and remain committed to delivering an exceptional driving and ownership experience.”
This year also marks the 30th anniversary of S&P Global Mobility’s Automotive Loyalty Awards. Unlike survey-based rankings, the program relies exclusively on vehicle registration data, underscoring a fact-based approach to measuring brand and model loyalty.
