Before diving into the nitty gritty of this fabulous new publication, you may want to read the book review of its predecessor, Twice Around the Clock: The Yanks at Le Mans Vols. I, II&III. The new edition covering the years 1980-89 and 1990-99, is continued in the same rich, quality vein and will no doubt be equally well received by the market.

It is also worth noting that the author of the first edition, Tim Considine, and indeed the mastermind behind the whole series, sadly passed away on 3 March 2022. But Tim was so well known in this field, and he had made such impressive progress with this new edition, that numerous friends and colleagues banded together to ensure that his work continued. It is fair to say that the prime mover behind this push was none other than the evergreen Jodi Ellis, book designer extraordinaire.
