Gunther Werks Launches GW9 Brand

The team at California-based Gunther Werks, a leader in precision-engineered and high-performance automotive design, has announced its new brand, GW9, and recently unveiled its new Porsche 992.1 Turbo S Aero Package. In partnership with Vorsteiner, renowned for its advanced carbon-fiber aero solutions and industry-leading craftsmanship, the package is designed to boost downforce and airflow while maintaining factory-grade fitment and finish.

Package components

The eight-piece complete Aero Package blends aggressive performance enhancements with refined styling and includes:

Aero Rear Wing: Engineered to maximize stability at high speeds, improving aerodynamic efficiency, while adding a bold aesthetic
Aero Rear Diffuser: Purpose-built to enhance aerodynamic balance and reduce rear-end lift
Aero Side Skirts: Designed to provide improved aerodynamics and appearance
Aero Side Intake Trim: Increases overall airflow into the factory intake system
Aero Front Intake Trim: Adds a sharper, more aggressive look to the front
Aero Front Spoiler with Winglets: Designed to increase downforce to the front end
Aero Front Spoiler Winglets: Engineered for aerodynamic performance and aesthetics
Aero Front Spoiler with Side Fins: Features a sleek integrated center section with side fins that enhance aerodynamics and high-speed stability

Each component is crafted using aerospace-grade, pre-impregnated carbon fiber formed through autoclave technology, which delivers a 20-30 % increase in stiffness and strength compared to traditional carbon fiber. The 992.1 Turbo Aero series of components integrates through OEM mounting points and complements the signature contours of the 992.1 Turbo S, enhancing both high-speed stability and aerodynamic efficiency.
