At the last Werks Reunion, hosted annually by the PCA (Porsche Club of America) in Monterey during Car Week, the field was full of beautifully restored cars. Among these polished and pampered Porsches, a crowd was gathered around a car that was neither polished nor pampered. This old car was more battered and bruised than beautiful, and the crowd loved it.
