Ultra-Rare 1994 RUF RCT Up For Grabs

A rare gem has surfaced on Bring A Trailer – a 1994 RUF RCT, possibly the only one ever built on a Porsche 964 RS chassis.

This unique car was originally used as a development and press vehicle by RUF. The car stayed with its first private owner in Heinsberg, Germany from September 1994 until 2017 before it was imported to the US in 2021.

The RCT (RUF Carrera Turbo) was built from 1992 to 1997, based on the Porsche 964 platform. RUF mastermind Alois Ruf Jr. ingeniously created this model by using leftover parts from BTR conversions of Carrera cars.

The star of the show, like many RUFs, is the engine. This 3.6-liter twin-turbocharged flat-six with Bosch-Motronic management puts out 370 horsepower and a whopping 395 lb-ft of torque, breathing through a custom RUF exhaust.

The Polar Silver Metallic exterior is complemented by black leather and tartan cloth upholstery together with manual crank windows, a Blaupunkt Montreux stereo, and green-letter VDO gauges.. Signature RUF touches include rolled fenders, an aluminum hood, the iconic “whale-tail” spoiler, 18-inch RUF/Speedline wheels, and upgraded suspension and brakes.

This one-of-a-kind 1990s supercar is offered with a German-language RUF certificate to prove its authenticity, tools, spare parts, and a clean title. Bidding is currently at $700,000 USD with just two days left. Don’t miss this opportunity to own a truly remarkable piece of automotive history!
