Porsche 911 Voted “Best New Car” by Newsweek

More honors for Porsche's build quality and customer experience

Porsche has earned two top honors in the 2026 Newsweek Readers’ Choice™ Awards, with the 2026 Porsche 911 being named Best New Car and the automaker receiving the award for Best Brand Dealership Experience, Porsche Cars North America announced. The awards are based on a nationwide public voting process conducted by Newsweek, in which consumers selected the vehicles and brands they believed excelled in quality, performance, and overall customer experience during a four-week voting period.

“Today’s automotive industry is being reshaped by connected technology, advanced safety, and the evolving ways people move through their lives,” said Ryan Kinney, Newsweek’s Senior Vice President of Research Strategy & Revenue. “Newsweek’s Readers’ Choice™ Awards recognize the brands earning the trust and favor of readers experiencing these changes firsthand.”

Porsche Cars North America President and CEO Timo Resch said the recognition carries added significance because it comes directly from consumers. “The Porsche 911 remains the benchmark sports car, and being recognized for our dealership experience reflects the dedication of our dealers across the country who strive every day to deliver an exceptional level of service,” Resch said.

The 2026 Newsweek Readers’ Choice™ Awards recognize brands and products across a range of automotive categories based on consumer voting.
