As the final Speedster commission is completed, Gunther Werks announces new and retroactive warranty. Gunther Werks, known for its bespoke remastering of the air-cooled Porsche 993, has reached a significant milestone, concluding its acclaimed Speedster program and introducing an unprecedented 5-year/100,000-mile warranty.
As the Speedster chapter comes to a close, Gunther Werks is redefining ownership standards in the bespoke automotive world with the launch of its comprehensive new warranty. The 5-year/100,000-mile coverage, a first among boutique manufacturers, also applies retroactively to all Gunther Werks vehicles.

“Our plan has been in development for months,” said Peter Nam . “It’s something we wanted to do because we believe in the integrity of our engineering. When Hyundai introduced its 10-year/100,000-mile warranty, it changed how people viewed quality and confidence. We’re bringing that same thinking to our segment, not because our cars need it, but because we stand behind every build. Most of our clients will never drive their cars that far, but knowing they could if they wanted to says everything about our commitment.”
Limited to just 25 commissions, the Speedster program embodied Gunther Werks’ mission to honor an analog spirit while pushing the boundaries of design and engineering. Every car was hand-built to its owner’s specification, demonstrating the culmination of years of development and refinement. Its completion marks both an end and a beginning, as the company shifts focus to the next generation of projects, including the Turbo and F-26 programs, which further expand its engineering reach.
“The Speedster represented the purest expression of our analog vision,” said Nam. “Each one was a celebration of craftsmanship, performance and emotion. With this final delivery, every Speedster has a home, and we couldn’t be prouder of what it represents.”
