The latest Porsche 911 Sport Classic (992) blends some of the brand’s most celebrated design cues with one of the most engaging drivetrains ever fitted to a 911. Signature elements include a Carrera RS 2.7-inspired ducktail spoiler, Fuchs-style wheels, and a distinctive double-bubble carbon-fiber roof.
Gold badging, a heritage-style Porsche crest, and twin racing stripes further highlight its retro influence. Inside, houndstooth cloth accents, green-detailed gauges, and a numbered dashboard plaque reinforce its vintage-inspired character.
Built on the Turbo widebody, it is the most powerful rear-wheel-drive 992 variant to date. Its twin-turbocharged 3.7-liter flat-six delivers 542 horsepower and, unlike its all-wheel-drive counterparts, offers a manual gearbox for a more involving drive. Performance is enhanced by carbon-ceramic brakes, Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control, rear-axle steering, adaptive suspension, and a bespoke exhaust system.
Porsche offered a limited range of color options for the Sport Classic, highlighted by the model-exclusive Sport Grey Metallic—drawing inspiration from Fashion Grey, first seen on the Porsche 356—alongside non-metallic Black, Agate Grey Metallic, and Gentian Blue Metallic.
This example currently listed on Bring a Trailer, however, is finished in paint-to-sample Racing Red, a $12,830 option. Contrasting graphics and Exclusive Manufaktur badging accent the bespoke finish, while the cabin is trimmed in black leather with Pepita cloth inserts.
Additional factory options include 20- and 21-inch Sport Classic wheels, front and rear parking sensors, LED-Matrix Design headlights with PDLS+, a front-axle lift system, heated power-adjustable front seats, a Bose sound system, and Porsche Communication Management with navigation.
