Now offered through Broad Arrow Private Sales, this 2021 Marc Philipp Gemballa MARSIEN is the 21st of only 40 examples produced worldwide and has covered just 4,699 miles. Originally a U.S.-market Porsche 911 Turbo S, it was transformed into Gemballa’s radical interpretation of an all-terrain supercar, drawing heavily from the legendary Porsche 959 Group B rally car.
Created as the first major project of Marc Philipp Gemballa, the MARSIEN pays tribute to the legacy of his late father, Uwe Gemballa, while establishing a distinctive new design philosophy. Its carbon-fiber bodywork, designed by Alan Derosier, blends contemporary 911 proportions with the distinctive rear profile of the 959, particularly the Paris-Dakar cars that dominated the 1986 rally. The name MARSIEN references the Martian-like red sands of the Al Faya Desert in the United Arab Emirates, where the car underwent extensive testing.
Underneath, the original twin-turbocharged 3.7-liter flat-six was extensively upgraded by RUF. Uprated variable-turbine-geometry turbochargers and revised ECU calibration raise output to an extraordinary 830 horsepower. The result is a claimed 0-to-60-mph time of 2.8 seconds and a 208-mph top speed.
Its off-road capability is equally remarkable. A bespoke KW Automotive suspension uses double wishbones at the front and a multi-link rear arrangement, providing 4.7 inches of standard ground clearance that can be electronically increased to nearly 10 inches. This gives the MARSIEN genuine versatility beyond conventional supercars.
This example is exceptionally equipped, with nearly $345,000 in special options. Its Al Faya Pearl White Effect finish was applied to just five MARSIENs, complemented by tinted exposed carbon fiber, blue-accented exterior details, 935/RSR-style mirrors, gold-anodized suspension components, 24-karat-gold badges, and an integrated air compressor. Inside, Dark Gray Alcantara, blue accents, exposed carbon fiber, a Club Sport roll bar, and Porsche carbon-fiber bucket seats create a highly specialized cockpit.
Recent maintenance further strengthens its credentials. The car received paint protection film in October 2025, Porsche servicing that December, and more than $10,000 of specialist work in May 2026, including alignment and corner balancing. With its extremely limited production, low mileage, RUF-enhanced powertrain, and extraordinary specification, this MARSIEN represents a rare fusion of Porsche performance, rally-inspired engineering, and bespoke automotive design.
