FOR SALE: 1991 Porsche 911 Carrera 2 Coupe by Singer

Known as the “Lonestar” commission

Dubbed the “Lonestar” commission, this 1991 Porsche 911 Carrera 2 coupe—now listed on Bring a Trailer—has been extensively reimagined by Singer Vehicle Design. It wears a paint-to-sample Dom Pérignon finish, accented by a centrally mounted external fuel filler on the hood, a separate oil filler on the right-rear quarter, Touring specification details, and a nickel-plated Singer emblem set above Connaught Blue “reimagined” script.

Power comes from a hand-built 4.0-liter air-cooled flat-six developed by renowned engine builder Ed Pink, producing 390 horsepower and 315 lb-ft of torque. The engine is paired with a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential, delivering a focused yet engaging driving experience.

Extensive use of lightweight carbon fiber shapes the fenders, bumpers, hood, roof, and rear decklid, while the retractable rear spoiler integrates a tinted acrylic screen beneath its grille. Additional exterior highlights include bi-xenon headlights with polycarbonate lenses, bullet-style mirrors, and subtle nickel-plated trim details.

Inside, the cabin is upholstered in Bone leather and fitted with four-way adjustable Recaro sport seats featuring woven leather inserts and brass ventilation grommets. Matching woven leather extends across the door panels, rear quarters, and bulkhead.

Luxury touches include an Ebony walnut shift knob and a modernized audio setup centered around a Porsche Classic radio with Apple CarPlay, supported by an Audison amplifier, under-seat subwoofer, and white speaker grilles. A leather-wrapped Momo Prototipo steering wheel sits ahead of an 11,000-rpm tachometer with an orange dial, while white diamond-stitched leather lines the front trunk.

Mechanically, the car’s individual throttle bodies sharpen engine response, complemented by adjustable Öhlins dampers for enhanced handling. Braking is handled by cross-drilled and ventilated Brembo discs with red-finished calipers, while staggered 17-inch Fuchs-style forged wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires ensure confident grip on the road.
