Porsche’s 992-generation 911 Sport Classic combines contemporary Turbo-level performance with one of the marque’s most desirable enthusiast features: a manual transmission. Now offered on Bring a Trailer, this 2023 example is #365 of just 1,250 Sport Classic models produced worldwide and has accumulated only 608 miles.
Finished in paint-to-sample Cobalt Blue Metallic, the car pairs its modern color with the model’s unmistakable retro-inspired design language. A carbon-fiber double-bubble roof, distinctive ducktail spoiler, gold badging, Fuchs-inspired wheels, and Porsche Heritage rear grille badge reference the legendary 911 Carrera RS 2.7 while retaining the proportions and engineering sophistication of the 992 platform.
Underneath, the Sport Classic uses a twin-turbocharged 3.7-liter flat-six derived from the 911 Turbo family. Factory output is rated at 543 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque, with power delivered exclusively to the rear wheels through a seven-speed manual transaxle. That combination makes the Sport Classic technically unusual within the modern 911 range, effectively pairing Turbo-specification engine performance with a driver-focused rear-wheel-drive layout and three-pedal transmission.
The chassis is similarly comprehensive. Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes provide high-performance stopping power, while Porsche Active Suspension Management, Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control, rear-axle steering, Power Steering Plus, and a front-axle lift system enhance both dynamic capability and everyday usability. The car rides on staggered 20- and 21-inch Sport Classic wheels fitted with Pirelli tires.
Inside, the Heritage Design theme continues with Classic Cognac leather, Pepita cloth inserts, Paldao wood trim, and Porsche crests integrated into the heated 18-way adaptive Sport Plus seats. Additional equipment includes LED-Matrix headlights with PDLS+, Lane Change Assist, lightweight and noise-insulated glass, carbon-fiber floor mats, aluminum pedals, and a high-end Burmester audio system.
The car was originally delivered through Porsche Beachwood in Ohio with a documented 2023 transaction price of $296,020. With exceptionally low mileage, a rare specification, and the increasingly coveted combination of Turbo-derived power and a seven-speed manual, this Sport Classic represents one of the most distinctive modern interpretations of Porsche’s heritage formula.
