Now offered for sale on Bring a Trailer, this 2023 Porsche 911 Sport Classic is a limited-production interpretation of the 992-generation 911 that combines Porsche’s modern Turbo-derived performance with a distinctly heritage-inspired design. Only 1,250 examples were produced worldwide, making the model one of the most exclusive variants of the contemporary 911. This particular car is number 643 of that production run and has covered just 120 miles.
Based on the 911 Turbo S, the Sport Classic distinguishes itself by sending power exclusively to the rear wheels through a seven-speed manual transaxle—an unusual combination in the modern Porsche lineup. Its twin-turbocharged 3.7-liter flat-six produces a factory-rated 543 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque, delivering substantial performance while retaining the driver involvement of a traditional manual gearbox.
The exterior draws heavily from Porsche’s competition and road-car heritage, most notably the 1970s 911 Carrera RS 2.7. Its fixed ducktail spoiler is the defining feature, complemented by a lightweight carbon-fiber hood, double-bubble carbon-fiber roof, Fuchs-inspired alloy wheels, gold badging, and contrasting graphics. Finished in Sport Gray Metallic, this example also features LED-Matrix Design headlights with PDLS+, Exclusive Design taillights, power-folding mirrors, parking sensors, a surround-view camera, and a Porsche Heritage rear grille badge.
Its 20-inch front and 21-inch rear Sport Classic center-lock wheels are fitted with Pirelli P Zero tires, while Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes with black multi-piston calipers provide high-performance stopping capability. Chassis technology includes Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control, Porsche Active Suspension Management, rear-axle steering, Power Steering Plus, and a front-axle lift system.
Inside, the Heritage Design Interior Package combines Cognac leather with Pepita-style cloth inserts, black leather dashboard and door-panel accents, and Paldao wood trim.
