FOR SALE: 2018 Porsche 911 GT2 RS Weissach

A highly optioned 2018 GT2 RS

The Porsche 911 GT2 RS represents the most uncompromising and performance-focused road-going version of the iconic 911. The GT2 lineage began as a homologation-inspired model that combined turbocharged power, extensive weight-saving measures, and motorsport-derived chassis upgrades to create a machine far more aggressive than its contemporaries. Over successive generations, the GT2 evolved into an even more formidable offering, culminating in the RS variant that continually redefined the limits of a production sports car.

Introduced in 2017 and based on the 991-generation platform, the fourth-generation 911 GT2 RS became the most powerful production 911 ever built at the time of its debut. Its twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter flat-six engine delivers an astonishing 700 horsepower exclusively to the rear wheels through Porsche’s seven-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission.

The result is breathtaking performance, including a 0–60 mph sprint in just 2.8 seconds and a top speed of 211 mph. Its engineering prowess was further validated on September 20, 2017, when Porsche test driver Lars Kern piloted a Weissach Package-equipped GT2 RS to a production-car lap record at the Nürburgring Nordschleife. The Weissach Package incorporated lightweight carbon-fiber components—including the roof, anti-roll bars, and front trunk lid—along with magnesium wheels that significantly reduced overall mass.

Now offered for sale on Bring a Trailer, this highly optioned 2018 GT2 RS originally carried an MSRP of $351,670, a substantial increase over its $293,200 base price. The Weissach Package contributes approximately 60 pounds of weight savings through carbon-fiber chassis components, a carbon roof panel, titanium exhaust and roll cage, and lightweight black-finished magnesium wheels. Porsche’s Sport Chrono Package further enhances track capability with advanced performance timing functions and optimized driving modes.

Finished in Chalk over a striking black interior, the car features a prominent carbon-fiber IMSA-style rear wing, black LED headlights with Porsche Dynamic Light System, carbon-fiber exterior accents, a front-axle lift system, and an extended-range 23.7-gallon fuel tank. Inside, the cockpit showcases black leather, Alcantara trim, red contrast stitching, and carbon-fiber bucket seats embroidered with Weissach RS logos.

Additional highlights include Guards Red gauges, Bose Surround Sound, aluminum pedals, a fire extinguisher, and numerous bespoke trim details. Showing just 8,288 miles at the time of writing, this 2018 Porsche 911 GT2 RS is arguably one of the most desirable road-and-track-focused 911s ever produced.
