Since its debut in 1954, the Speedster name has symbolized some of Porsche’s most performance-focused road cars. The most recent iteration, built on the 991.2 platform, was introduced in 2019 with a limited production run of just 1,948 units—a nod to the year Porsche began vehicle production and forged its storied legacy.
Now available on Bring a Trailer, this 2019 Porsche 911 Speedster is powered by the same drivetrain found in the 991 GT3: a 4.0-liter flat-six engine producing 502 horsepower, paired exclusively with a 6-speed GT Sport manual transmission. This example is finished in black with a matching black leather interior and shows only 2,200 miles from the new.
Performance highlights include a mechanical rear differential with asymmetric locking, torque vectoring, Porsche Stability Management, adjustable Porsche Active Suspension Management, a stainless steel sports exhaust, and carbon ceramic brakes with black calipers. Enhancing its exclusivity, the vehicle features a Front Axle Lift System, carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic “double bubble” rear streamliners, and a top compartment lid, as well as a lightweight carbon fiber hood.
Inside, the cabin features heated seats, dual-zone climate control, Porsche Communication Management with online navigation, Bose Surround Sound, Apple CarPlay via the Connect Plus module, leather-trimmed sun visors and steering wheel, and a dashboard-mounted stopwatch, courtesy of the Chrono Package. Additional features include a rearview camera, power accessories, heated power mirrors, and 20-inch center-lock forged alloy wheels wrapped in Michelin tires.
