Singer Vehicle Design – Wyoming Commission
Today, we take a closer look at the Singer Vehicle Designs Wyoming Commission. This left hand drive coupe has the most unique exterior paint color I’ve seen on a Singer thus far. This is a Classic Study car, which means it was restored in Singer’s California center of excellence. This car was shared with the public in May 2022. The Wyoming commission is a 4.0 liter coupe presented in a deep Oslo Blue exterior color. Interior trimmed in Cognac with bespoke leather-weave seat centers.
The interior of this car features a bespoke leatherweave design, a signature of our Interiors Department. This design beautifully complements the carbon fiber bodywork, presented in Oslo Blue. Early 911 gauges are selected, again partnered with a leather weave that extends along the dash strip. Outside, this machine has been specified with nickel and rubber touring trim for the rocker panels and rear bumperettes, complemented by raised nickel badging for the rear engine cover. An external, centrally-mounted fuel filler and side-mounted oil filler in machined aluminum add further jewel-like details. The owner has specified touring seats with 8-way electrical adjustment. These are trimmed in Cognac with bespoke, woven seat centers, and leather-wrapped seat backs. The sills, transmission tunnel and lower surfaces in the rear compartment are carpeted in Oatmeal. The front luggage compartment is presented in Cognac, with Alabaster stitching.
Powering the Wyoming commission is this 4.0L, naturally-aspirated, air-cooled flat-six. The engine is specified with a ceramic plenum finish and drives the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual gearbox. Internally, the engine bay is completed with diamond quilted leather in Cognac, matched to the car’s interior. Externally, the carbon fiber rear engine cover features raised nickel badging. The rear bumperettes are presented in a nickel and rubber finish and the titanium sports exhaust system is specified.
