Joe Raiti gives a first look at the Porsche 911 GT3 RS Carrera RS Tribute, a limited-edition homage to the iconic 1972 911 Carrera RS 2.5. This special edition blends the full performance of the 992 GT3 RS with visual cues from the original RS, featuring Python Green accents on wheels, mirror caps, side stripes, and interior stitching. Its exterior includes carbon fiber fenders, hood, and aerodynamic elements, while the rear wing integrates active aero for adjustable downforce.

Under the hood, the car houses a 4.0L naturally aspirated flat-six producing 518 hp and 343 lb-ft of torque, paired with a seven-speed PDK gearbox. The Carrera RS Tribute weighs 3,200 lbs, reaches 0–60 mph in 2.9 seconds, and tops out at over 184 mph. Carbon-ceramic brakes, magnesium wheels, and extensive carbon fiber use reduce weight and enhance track performance.

Inside, Python Green Alcantara and carbon fiber dominate, with single-bucket RS seats, a race-inspired pedal box, and a fully configurable digital display. Every detail—from stitching to the seat bolsters—emphasizes its racing heritage, making it a highly collectible, track-capable supercar that also celebrates Porsche’s history in style.
