Misha Charoudin meets with Moritz Kranz at the Nürburgring during a Nürburgring Endurance Series test day to look over the 2022 Porsche 992 GT3 Cup race car. Moritz, who previously raced the 991-generation Cup car, explains that the newer model is a major step forward, with more mechanical grip, improved aerodynamics, and a double-wishbone front suspension paired with wider front tires.

The car produces about 510 hp, significantly more than the previous version, and features a large swan-neck rear wing and revised front aero for better balance and higher cornering speeds. Unlike standard Carrera Cup cars, the Nürburgring-spec version runs adjustable ABS and traction control to cope with the Nordschleife’s bumps and changing conditions.

Moritz also notes improved cockpit ergonomics, including a redesigned steering wheel and larger display, making the car feel intuitive to drive. After the overview, the video transitions to on-track footage showcasing the car in action.
