Run by Competent Motorsport, the Pirelli Trophy West USA is an amateur one-make racing series in which Porsche club racers take to established tracks around the country to battle it out on-board an array of Porsche GT3 and GT4 machinery. Mobil 1 The Grid took a trip to Laguna Seca, California, where the penultimate round of the seven-event season was taking place, to learn more about the series and the drivers who race in it.
