The RS60 Spyder edition of the Boxster was produced to commemorate Porsche’s victory at the 12 Hours of Sebring in Florida in 1960. Reflecting its model designation, the Boxster RS 60 Spyder was limited to a Special Edition of 1,960 units proudly bearing a silver-coloured placard on the lid of the glove compartment.
Today, you have the chance to own one of the limited examples of the 2008 Porsche 987 Boxster S RS 60 Spyder Edition! This particular RS 60 Spyder Edition is one of the approximately 800 units that were delivered to the US and currently shows only 40,718 miles on its odometer!
Like all other RS 60 Spyder edition, this one also sports a silver metallic paintwork that’s accompanied by unique black windscreen frame, red taillight lenses, SportDesign front fascia, and 19” SportDesign wheels, all of which are in great condition.
The silver metallic finish is further accentuated by its contrast to the natural leather interior in Carrera red and the roof also finished in red. The RS 60 Spyder Edition features a modified exhaust system made up of a sports exhaust combined with a dual tailpipe which increases increases the output of its 3.4-liter flat-six engine to 303 horsepower.
