From a GT3 RS to a GT3 Touring—Michael’s Decision to “Trade Up”

Choosing to employ one’s free will to exchange a recently acquired 992 GT3 RS for a new 992.2 GT3 Touring requires a certain type of Porsche enthusiast. For starters, there’s a strong sense of brand loyalty obviously at play here. But that individual also has the ability to recognize that the best 911—for them—doesn’t have to be the top trending Porsche on your Instagram feed.

In fact, that should never be the driving force behind what motivates a genuine Porsche enthusiast into owning an example of Stuttgart’s finest. Everything leading up to this point proves that my friend Michael is quintessentially “that guy”—the right kind of Porsche for the right kind of person as they say, and I’m all for it.
