FOR SALE: 2024 Porsche 911 Dakar Rallye Design

Number 2295 of 2,500 produced

Despite decades of dominance in circuit racing, Porsche’s rally success is often overlooked, including overall victories at the Paris-Dakar Rally in 1984 and 1986. This 2024 Porsche 911 Dakar Coupe, now offered on Bring a Trailer, pays tribute to that history, inspired by the 1984 Dakar-winning 911 RS/SC 4×4 driven by René Jean Metge and Dominique Lemoine.

Finished in paint-to-sample Stone Gray, the car is adorned with the Rallye 1974 graphics package, a tribute to the No. 19 911 Carrera RS 2.7 driven by Björn Waldegård and Hans Thorszelius to a runner-up finish in the 1974 East African Safari Rally. Its rugged aesthetic is further emphasized by black brake calipers, a carbon-fiber roof, black rocker cladding with integrated stainless-steel protection, and staggered 19- and 20-inch Dakar wheels wrapped in Pirelli tires.

Under the rear decklid sits a 3.0-liter twin-turbo flat-six producing 473 horsepower, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission that sends power to all four wheels. The Dakar’s off-road prowess is bolstered by Porsche’s Raised Suspension System, rear-axle steering, and Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control, giving it the versatility to tackle rough terrain with confidence.

Inside, the cabin combines comfort and performance with 18-way heated adaptive sport seats, a heated GT Sport steering wheel, and black leather and Alcantara trimmed with Shade Green stitching. Matte carbon-fiber accents, illuminated door sills, a white-face tachometer, Sport Chrono, Surround View, and a Burmester sound system add to the premium feel.

Marking its exclusivity, a limited-edition plaque identifies this example as number 2295 of 2,500 produced. With just 346 miles on the odometer, this 2024 911 Dakar Coupe offers a rare chance to experience Porsche’s signature blend of performance, heritage, and distinctive off-road style.
