Marking the end of the seventh-generation 911, Porsche delivered a fitting farewell with the striking 2019 991 Speedster. Built on the brilliant GT3 platform, the Speedster impressed critics with its razor-sharp engine response, a ride quality that rivals even the refined standard 911, and an intoxicating exhaust note perfectly suited for open-air driving.
Now offered on Bring a Trailer with only 88 miles from new, this example remains virtually untouched. Finished in paint-to-sample Forest Green Metallic over a black leather interior with yellow stitching, it features carbon fiber bucket seats and matching trim, showcasing Porsche’s exceptional attention to detail.
At its heart lies a GT3-sourced all-aluminum DOHC 24-valve flat-six, enhanced with individual throttle bodies and increased fuel pressure to deliver 502 horsepower at 8,400 rpm. Power is sent exclusively through a six-speed manual transmission—no PDK option available—launching the car from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.5 seconds and on to a top speed of 195 mph.
Well-equipped, it includes a GT sport steering wheel, Bose Surround Sound System, Sport Chrono Package, LED headlights with Porsche Dynamic Light System, dual-zone climate control, front-axle lift system, center-lock 20-inch forged wheels, and carbon ceramic brakes with signature yellow calipers.
Limited to just 1,948 units, the Speedster stands out instantly with its low-cut windshield and manually operated lightweight roof—hallmark traits of the Speedster lineage. It’s a car that captures Porsche’s formula at its finest.
