Now offered for sale on Bring a Trailer, this 2018 Porsche 911 GT2 RS represents the pinnacle of the 991-generation 911 lineup. Introduced at the 2017 Goodwood Festival of Speed, the GT2 RS redefined Porsche’s performance benchmarks, becoming the most powerful production 911 ever built at the time. Its rear-mounted 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged flat-six delivers 691 horsepower to the rear wheels through a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission and a limited-slip differential with Porsche Torque Vectoring, enabling blistering performance with a 0–60 mph sprint of just 2.8 seconds and a top speed of 211 mph.
Showing approximately 3,800 miles, this example was extensively optioned from the factory, most notably with the coveted Weissach Package, which trimmed weight through the use of carbon fiber for the roof panel and anti-roll bars. Additional factory equipment includes the Sport Chrono Package, Light Design Package, front-axle lift system, magnesium center-lock wheels measuring 20 inches up front and 21 inches at the rear, Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes with signature yellow calipers, personalized illuminated carbon-fiber door sills, white instrument dials, Silver Grey seatbelts, and a Bose surround sound system.
Finished in Black over a matching leather and Alcantara interior, the GT2 RS showcases Porsche’s relentless focus on lightweight engineering. Carbon-fiber construction extends to the hood, mirror caps, side air intakes, front fender vents, and towering rear wing, while an aggressive front fascia, underbody diffuser, and NACA ducts integrated into the front trunk lid enhance aerodynamic efficiency and brake cooling.
The chassis combines Porsche Active Suspension Management, adjustable dampers and anti-roll bars, Porsche Stability Management, and rear-axle steering to maximize precision and stability. Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires wrapped around lightweight magnesium wheels further enhance grip, while the optional front-axle lift system improves everyday usability by reducing the risk of scraping steep driveways.
Inside, carbon-fiber full bucket seats trimmed in black leather and Alcantara feature Weissach embroidery, complemented by contrast stitching, aluminum pedals, carbon-fiber interior accents, PCM navigation, climate control, cruise control, and the Sport Chrono dashboard stopwatch. An Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel with lightweight shift paddles sits ahead of a 250-mph speedometer and a motorsport-inspired instrument cluster, underscoring the GT2 RS’s track-focused character.
