FOR SALE: 1991 Porsche 911 Carrera 2 Coupe by Singer

Known as the “Foothills” commission

This bespoke creation by Singer Vehicle Design, known as the “Foothills” commission, seamlessly combines air-cooled Porsche heritage with cutting-edge engineering. Currently listed for sale on Bring a Trailer, the car had just 109 miles on the odometer at the time of writing.

Every Singer build starts with a steel unibody from a 964-generation Porsche 911, stripped to bare metal, reinforced, and reimagined with lightweight carbon-fiber bodywork. Finished in paint-to-sample Foothills Yellow, this example features subtle bodyside ghost stripes paired with Andes Green Porsche script.

Signature design elements include a centrally mounted external fuel filler on the hood, a nickel-plated Singer decklid badge, and body-color rear bumperettes. Additional details such as the retractable rear spoiler with a tinted acrylic screen beneath the grille, bullet-style mirrors mounted through the vent windows, and bi-xenon headlights with polycarbonate lenses showcase Singer’s meticulous attention to craftsmanship and proportion.

Inside, the cabin reflects an uncompromising level of bespoke craftsmanship. Hunter Green Connolly leather upholstery is complemented by yellow-striped woven leather inserts and nickel ventilation grommets on the carbon-fiber fixed-back bucket seats. Matching woven leather extends across the dashboard, door panels, and rear seating areas, while black leather accents the dash, door caps, and parcel shelf.

Power comes from Singer’s highly sought-after naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six, rated at 390 horsepower and 315 lb-ft of torque. Paired with a six-speed manual transmission and a dramatic velocity-stack intake system, the engine delivers razor-sharp throttle response, engaging performance, and the unmistakable soundtrack of an air-cooled Porsche.

Chassis dynamics are enhanced by Öhlins two-way adjustable coilovers at all four corners, while braking is handled by a Brembo system from a Porsche 993 Turbo featuring Andes Green-painted four-piston calipers over two-piece cross-drilled carbon-ceramic rotors. Fuchs-style 17-inch forged aluminum wheels with nickel and black accents are wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires measuring 225/45 front and 265/40 rear.
