The Porsche 911 Carrera (992.2) is the facelifted version of the eighth-generation 911. Under the rear decklid sits a 3.0-liter twin-turbo flat-six, now producing 394 horsepower (9 hp more than before) and 450 Nm of torque. Porsche borrowed the turbos from the pre-facelift GTS and added the intercooler from the Turbo model.
The base Carrera’s numbers are impressive for a base model: 0–100 km/h in 3.9 seconds with launch control and a top speed of 294 km/h (~183 mph). On the German autobahn, the speedometer reached 294 km/h (~183 mph), as the folks from AutoTopNL on YouTube pushed it to the limits on an unrestricted section of the highway.
