A 1992 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 has been transformed into a highly individualized Singer Vehicle Design commission and is now being offered through Cars & Bids. Known as the “Elroy” commission, the car was completed by Singer in June 2023, taking the original 964-generation all-wheel-drive 911 and rebuilding it extensively around modern performance, craftsmanship, and bespoke specification.
At the center of the reimagined 911 is an Ed Pink Racing 4.0-liter naturally aspirated flat-six producing a Singer-rated 390 horsepower and 315 lb-ft of torque. The engine drives all four wheels through a six-speed manual transmission, combining the mechanical engagement of a traditional Porsche drivetrain with the additional traction of the Carrera 4 platform.
Singer’s engineering work extends well beyond the powertrain. The original unibody was reinforced, while carbon-fiber body panels reduce weight and sharpen the car’s visual profile. Öhlins two-way adjustable suspension provides a more sophisticated chassis setup, complemented by Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes fitted with distinctive Pistachio-colored calipers and a limited-slip differential.
The exterior is finished in Tangerine Orange, while the cabin combines black leather with woven accents and subtle Pistachio detailing. Seventeen-inch Fuchs-style wheels, ghost lower stripes, a power-operated sunroof, and Singer-applied full-body paint protection film further distinguish the build.
Inside, power-adjustable Recaro Touring seats, a MOMO Prototipo steering wheel, drilled floorboards and pedals, and a Porsche Classic navigation-equipped radio preserve the period-inspired character while adding modern usability. An Audison amplifier and Hertz speakers provide an upgraded audio system.
The car shows only 791 miles since its Singer build and is accompanied by a clean Carfax history report. The current dealer acquired it in 2026 and reports adding approximately 300 miles. Recent reported maintenance includes an oil and filter change, while the seller states that Singer’s recommended Service B—including brake and clutch fluid service—was completed less than 150 miles ago, although supporting documentation was not provided.
With its combination of 964-era proportions, naturally aspirated performance, all-wheel drive, and Singer’s meticulous engineering and craftsmanship, this Elroy commission represents a particularly distinctive interpretation of the classic air-cooled 911. It is currently being offered with a reserve on Cars & Bids, with the auction scheduled to conclude October 17.
