Listed for sale on Bring a Trailer, this 2019 Porsche 911 GT2 RS represents the ultimate high-performance evolution of the 991-generation 911. Showing just 760 miles, the example is finished in Chalk and equipped with the highly desirable Weissach, Light Design, and Sport Chrono packages.
Introduced in 2017, the 991 GT2 RS became the most powerful production 911 at the time, combining a twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter flat-six with rear-wheel drive and a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission. Factory output was rated at 700 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque, enabling a claimed 0-to-60-mph time of 2.8 seconds and a top speed of 211 mph. The model also established its performance credentials at the Nürburgring Nordschleife, where Porsche test driver Lars Kern set a production-car lap record in a Weissach-equipped GT2 RS in September 2017.
The Weissach Package was engineered around weight reduction and track-focused performance. Carbon fiber is used extensively throughout the car, including the roof panel, anti-roll bars, hood, fender vents, side air intakes, mirrors, and rear wing. Lightweight magnesium wheels further reduce mass, while the aggressive aerodynamic package incorporates a large rear wing, deeper front fascia, underbody diffuser, and NACA ducts integrated into the front trunk lid for brake cooling.
This example rides on 20-inch front and 21-inch rear center-lock alloy wheels fitted with Michelin tires prepared for the sale. Porsche Active Suspension Management, adjustable dampers and anti-roll bars, Porsche Stability Management, and rear-axle steering enhance chassis control. Standard Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes feature cross-drilled rotors and distinctive yellow calipers, while the optional front-axle lift system provides additional clearance over steep driveways and ramps.
Inside, carbon-fiber full bucket seats are trimmed in black leather and Alcantara, complemented by “Weissach RS” headrest embroidery and contrasting stitching. Carbon-fiber trim, illuminated door-sill guards, automatic climate control, Bose audio, navigation, Voice Control, and cruise control provide additional functionality. The Alcantara steering wheel incorporates lightweight shift paddles, while the Sport Chrono stopwatch occupies the center of the dashboard.
Power reaches the rear wheels through a limited-slip differential with Porsche Torque Vectoring. Additional engine hardware includes an intercooler spray system, titanium rear exhaust muffler, and carbon-fiber engine cover, underscoring the GT2 RS’s blend of extreme output, reduced mass, and motorsport-derived engineering.
