Listed for sale on PCARMARKET, this exceptionally specified 2018 Porsche 911 GT3 represents one of the more distinctive examples of the 991.2-generation GT3, combining a rare historic color with an extensive collection of Porsche Exclusive and Custom Tailoring options. Finished in Paint to Sample Gelbgrün (Green Yellow) over a Black leather and Alcantara interior, the car has covered just over 600 miles.
The 991.2 GT3 marked a significant development over its predecessor. Porsche returned a manual transmission to the lineup as a no-cost alternative to the PDK, while introducing a 4.0-liter naturally aspirated flat-six derived from the company’s GT3 Cup racing engine. Producing 500 horsepower and 339 lb-ft of torque, the high-revving engine spins to 9,000 rpm. This particular example pairs the engine with the seven-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission and rear-wheel drive.
Chassis technology includes Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), rear-axle steering, Porsche Torque Vectoring, and a locking rear differential. The aerodynamic package was also revised for the 991.2, including a new diffuser that helped deliver downforce comparable to the preceding 997 GT3 RS. Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) provide additional track-focused capability, while the optional Front Axle Lift System improves usability over ramps and uneven surfaces.
The car’s specification is particularly notable. Its Gelbgrün exterior incorporates black 20-inch center-lock wheels with body-color lips, black LED headlights with Porsche Dynamic Light System, yellow ceramic brake calipers, and an aluminum-look fuel cap. Inside, acid-green deviated stitching extends across the dashboard, doors, seats, steering wheel, console, and gear lever, complemented by a matching 12-o’clock steering-wheel marker.
Full carbon-fiber bucket seats, the Carbon Fiber Interior Package, illuminated personalized carbon-fiber door sills, embroidered floor mats, Alcantara sun visors, aluminum pedals, Sport Chrono, Bose audio, and other options contributed to an original MSRP approaching $194,000.
Gelbgrün itself carries Porsche racing heritage, recalling the vividly painted 911 Carrera RSR 3.0s prepared for the inaugural International Race of Champions in 1973–74. With its exceptionally low mileage, motorsport-derived powertrain, and unusually comprehensive Custom Tailoring specification, this GT3 stands apart as a highly individualized example of Porsche’s naturally aspirated 991.2 generation.
