A Swiss customer has taken delivery of one of the most extensively customized electric Porsches ever created through the marque’s Sonderwunsch personalization program, transforming the Taycan Turbo GT into a one-off expression of craftsmanship and individuality. Already the owner of three all-electric sports sedans from Zuffenhausen, the customer immediately set his sights on the Taycan Turbo GT when Porsche unveiled its new flagship electric performance model. Working alongside Porsche Center Lugano and the Sonderwunsch team, he commissioned a bespoke version of the most powerful Taycan ever produced, pushing Porsche’s battery-electric personalization capabilities into new territory.
“For many years, the Sonderwunsch program has been the spearhead of our individualization offering,” says Alexander Fabig, Vice President Product and Individualization Offering at Porsche. “However, customizing a Taycan to such an extensive degree at the customer’s request was new territory even for us.” The project incorporated around 30 bespoke Sonderwunsch features, with more than half representing entirely new developments that make their debut on this vehicle.
The customer approached Porsche with a clear vision, including a design rendering of his ideal Taycan. The concept drew inspiration from the changing light over Lake Lugano, where sunrise and sunset bathe the water in rich orange and golden hues. Porsche’s designers translated those impressions into a cohesive exterior and interior theme through an intensive collaboration that included three in-person meetings at the company’s Zuffenhausen headquarters, along with numerous consultations. The result is a Taycan Turbo GT that blends contemporary performance with understated elegance.
“Like Switzerland itself, Sonderwunsch also stands for individuality, quality, and genuine craftsmanship,” says Holger Gerrmann, Chief Executive Officer of Porsche Schweiz AG. “With this Taycan Turbo GT, Sonderwunsch impressively demonstrates how personal creativity can lend a vehicle an unmistakable character.”
The exterior: classic elegance in Nordicgoldmetallic
The one-off Taycan is finished in Paint to Sample Nordicgoldmetallic, a warm metallic shade inspired by the appearance of pure gold. The color traces its heritage to Porsche’s Metallic Gold finishes first offered on the 911 and 914 during the early 1970s before returning on models including the 997-generation 911, 987-generation Boxster and Cayman, and the Cayenne GTS in the late 2000s.
A series of carefully selected accents complements the bespoke paintwork. A Turbonite Porsche crest sits on the front luggage compartment lid, while the upper mirror housings, B-pillars and adaptive rear spoiler’s Gurney flap are finished in high-gloss black. Satin Neodyme trim appears on the front fascia, side skirts and the outer rim of the 21-inch Turbo GT forged lightweight wheels, which are finished in Satin Black and paired with Turbonite center caps, black valve caps and black balance weights.
The interior: Pepita, fine materials and meticulous details
The bespoke design continues throughout the cabin with a unique combination of colors, materials and finishes. The seats feature Pepita fabric center panels in Black/Slate Grey, framed by Pebble Grey leather and Black Race-Tex on the side bolsters and headrests. Crayon contrast stitching, Mojave Beige piping and embroidered “turbo GT” logos provide additional visual highlights.
The dashboard and door panels combine Pebble Grey and Black surfaces with matching Crayon and Mojave Beige stitching, while the Pebble Grey leather storage compartment lid is embossed with the Sonderwunsch logo.
Neodyme-painted accents appear throughout the cabin, including on the gear selector, air vents, cupholder surrounds and door handles. The cupholder trim also carries Sonderwunsch branding. The GT sports steering wheel features a Race-Tex rim with a Mojave Beige 12 o’clock marker, while the leather-covered airbag module is framed by a Neodyme ring. Exposed carbon-fiber trim with visible fasteners completes the steering wheel design.
Additional bespoke details include a Sport Chrono clock finished in Nordicgoldmetallic, illuminated orange “turbo GT” door sill lettering, Atacama Beige seat belts, custom floor mats, a handcrafted vehicle documentation folder, and a body-color-painted key with a matching key case.
About the Taycan Turbo GT
With a short-term peak output of up to 815 kW (1,108 PS), the Taycan Turbo GT is the most powerful production model in Porsche’s lineup. Power is delivered through a high-performance pulse inverter using silicon carbide semiconductor technology on the rear axle.
Intelligent lightweight engineering reduces the Taycan Turbo GT’s weight by as much as 75 kilograms compared with the Taycan Turbo S, aided by the extensive use of carbon-fiber components. Standard Porsche Active Ride suspension with GT-specific tuning is designed to maximize performance by maintaining balanced wheel load distribution and delivering exceptional road contact during demanding driving conditions.
