Porsche Supercup Opener Brings The Hype!

Theo Oeverhaus wins in Monaco

Theo Oeverhaus converted pole position into a commanding victory in the opening round of the 2026 Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup on the streets of Monaco, leading all 17 laps from start to finish.

The German driver controlled the race throughout, finishing ahead of rookie Andrea Bristot, who impressed in his Monaco debut by securing second place and the Rookie class win for Dinamic Motorsport. Britain’s Gustav Burton completed the podium after holding off defending Monaco winner Robert de Haan.

Dutch Porsche Junior Flynt Schuring finished fifth, the highest-placed Porsche Junior in the field.

Rookie podium honors also went to Brazil’s Matheus Ferreira and Luxembourg’s Chester Kieffer. Awards for both the overall and Rookie classifications were presented by actor and racing enthusiast Patrick Dempsey.

The championship heads straight to Barcelona for Round 2 on June 14 as part of the Formula One weekend. The event will also feature the Supercup debut of Jacques Villeneuve, who will drive the VIP Porsche 911 Cup car in a helmet-inspired livery.
