FOR SALE: 2023 Porsche 911 Sport Classic

Number 957 of just 1,250 examples produced worldwide

The 992 Sport Classic stands out with signature styling elements such as its ducktail rear spoiler and broad rear haunches. While the earlier 997 variant was derived from the naturally aspirated Carrera GTS, the newer model significantly elevates performance by utilizing the powertrain from the 992 Turbo. Unlike the standard Turbo, however, the Sport Classic channels power exclusively to the rear wheels and pairs it with a manual gearbox instead of Porsche’s PDK transmission and all-wheel-drive system.

Although it retains the Turbo’s muscular wide-body stance, Porsche deleted the side air intakes to achieve a more refined and timeless appearance. Heritage-inspired touches further emphasize its retro character, including gold exterior badging, green-accented gauges, and elegant wood trim across the cabin, combining classic 911 cues with contemporary engineering.

Offered for sale on Bring a Trailer, this 2023 Porsche 911 Sport Classic is number 957 of just 1,250 examples produced worldwide. Finished in Agate Gray Metallic over a Heritage Design Interior, it rides on staggered 20- and 21-inch Sport Classic wheels wrapped in Goodyear tires. Braking performance comes from Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) with black-finished multi-piston calipers.

The car is equipped with Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC), front-axle lift, Power Steering Plus, Porsche Active Suspension Management, and rear-axle steering. Additional highlights include a double-bubble carbon-fiber roof, LED-Matrix Design headlights with PDLS+, lightweight insulated glass, surround-view cameras, parking sensors, and a Porsche Heritage rear grille badge.

Inside, Paldao wood trim complements heated and ventilated 18-way adaptive Sport Plus seats upholstered in black leather. A leather-wrapped GT Sport steering wheel, dashboard-mounted stopwatch, Burmester sound system, ambient lighting, dual-zone climate control, Lane Change Assist, and PCM navigation further elevate the experience.

With only 1,250 examples produced, the Sport Classic is even rarer than the 911 Dakar and 911 S/T. While the 992 Turbo is celebrated for its immense capability and usability, the Sport Classic caters more directly to purists and Porsche historians without sacrificing modern performance.
