Just revealed at the Amelia Concours weekend is this Carrera GT SC in liquid metal green. It represents Canepa’s latest project by taking the Sport Canepa name and ethos and applying it to one of the most legendary cars ever made by Porsche. The Carrera GT SC began with a vision to improve areas that could be enhanced with modern technology and to offer color options never available. A bespoke leather interior with updated Alcantara surfaces, body-matched air intakes to help blend them under the body-matched engine mesh, updated KW suspension with integrated lift, matte carbon in the engine bay, gloss black painted headlight bezels and exhaust surrounds, upgraded exhaust system for better sound and power, upgraded clutch for better longevity and driving, a custom exposed carbon fiber roll hoop, anodized black wheel center locks, and a complete concours-level paint change that involved removing all of the body panels. Chassis #01 is just the beginning, with another Carrera GT SC in the works.
