Porsche of the Day: Thermal Commission by Singer Vehicle Design

A stunning 911 reimagined by Singer Vehicle Design through its DLS Turbo program

This Porsche 911, reimagined by Singer Vehicle Design through its DLS Turbo program, is a striking blend of craftsmanship and performance. Nicknamed Thermal by its owner, it wears a rich Baja Blue finish that highlights the sculpted bodywork, complemented by a purposeful track-inspired rear wing and aggressive front fascia.

The fine details elevate the car’s beauty: lightweight magnesium center-lock wheels in GP White echo the crisp finish of the matching fuel and oil fillers, creating subtle visual harmony. Inside, Silver Grey Alcantara seats with tone-on-tone piping provide a refined, tailored look, balancing motorsport intent with understated elegance.

Beneath the artistry lies a thoroughly reengineered twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter flat-six derived from the Type 964. With water-cooled heads, air-cooled cylinders, and an electrically driven fan, the engine revs to 9,000 rpm and produces 710 horsepower and 750 Nm of torque.

Rebuilt by Singer’s UK team, this car is not only a technical masterpiece but also a beautifully detailed interpretation of the classic 911—where every color, texture, and component feels carefully chosen and perfectly executed.
