The Carrera S is now PDK-only, as manual demand was too low.
Chassis improvements include standard PASM adaptive dampers, a limited-slip differential, larger GTS-derived brakes, and retuned suspension with stiffer springs and a wider damping range for better comfort and control. The result is a highly capable, approachable sports car with excellent steering, strong brakes, and balanced handling. Ride quality in Normal mode is especially compliant, making it easy to live with daily.
However, the car lacks some emotional drama compared with rivals like the BMW M4 or Corvette C8 Z06, and engine sound is muted due to modern emissions equipment.
