This video showcases the ultra-rare Porsche 993 GT2 Clubsport being driven hard on a private airstrip in Switzerland. Only 20 Clubsport versions were built from the already limited run of road-going 993 GT2s, the car represents the most extreme evolution of the air-cooled 911 and was developed to homologate Porsche’s GT2 race program.

Based on the 993 Turbo, the GT2 Clubsport removes all-wheel drive and sheds over 200 kg through extensive weight reduction, including thinner glass and aluminum body panels. Power from the twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter flat-six rises to around 430 horsepower, giving the car performance close to modern supercars, with a 0–60 mph time of about four seconds and a top speed near 184 mph.

Distinctive bolt-on fender flares allow for a wider track and larger lightweight wheels, while aggressive aerodynamics improve stability at speed. The Clubsport package adds a welded roll cage, racing harnesses, bucket seats, and fire suppression equipment, making it closer to a race car than a road car.
