For the 993 generation, Porsche blended the classic 911 silhouette and its air-cooled flat-six with contemporary advancements such as all-wheel drive and electronic engine management, creating a bridge between tradition and modernity. Introduced in 1995, the 993 Turbo sat at the top of the range. Its twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter flat-six delivered performance on par with the legendary 959, while maintaining everyday usability and proven reliability.
This particular example was purchased new by its sole owner from Beechmont Motors in Cincinnati, Ohio, and is now offered for sale on Bring a Trailer with just 8,250 original miles. Finished in Arena Red Metallic, the car rides on 18-inch Technology hollow-spoke wheels and features Porsche’s Automatic Brake Differential, multi-link rear suspension, and four-piston Porsche calipers clamping cross-drilled rotors.
Inside, the power-adjustable front seats and rear seats are upholstered in special-order Flamenco Red supple leather, with matching trim across the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Amenities include cruise control, a CD stereo, and Turbo-branded stainless-steel door sills.
Power comes from the factory twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter flat-six with Bosch Motronic fuel injection, rated at 400 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque. A six-speed manual transaxle and limited-slip differential send power to all four wheels.
