SavageGeese shared a video on YouTube where they put the new Porsche 911 GTS (992.2) to the test — a groundbreaking hybrid that uses electricity not for efficiency, but for exhilaration. With an electric turbocharger assisting a new 3.6-liter flat-six, they set a lap time and explore what this means for the future of turbo technology in sports cars.

Its updated 3.6-liter flat-six engine works alongside two electric motors and a compact 1.9 kWh battery developed by Rimac. One motor powers the turbocharger, eliminating lag and delivering instant throttle response, while the second motor—positioned between the engine and transmission—adds 50 horsepower and 110 lb-ft of torque for stronger low-end performance.

Chassis updates include revised PASM dampers, optional PDCC active anti-roll bars, and rear-wheel steering running on a faster 400-volt system. The GTS’s optional Aero kit ensures zero lift at speed, and massive 10-piston carbon-ceramic brakes provide fade-free stopping power.
