Heading to the auction stage at RM Sotheby’s Miami sale on February 27 is a spectacular 1992 Porsche 911 reimagined by Singer Vehicle Design, estimated at $1,000,000–$1,200,000. Known as the “Palm Beach Commission,” this bespoke build was completed in March 2022 and has covered just 710 miles since delivery.
Finished in striking Bahama Yellow with subtle Ghosted Light rocker stripes and Porsche script, the car blends classic styling with modern craftsmanship. Details like polished-lip Fuchs wheels, center fuel filler, external oil filler, and backdated mirrors give it a timeless presence.
Power comes from a hand-built 4.0-liter air-cooled flat-six featuring big cams, ceramic-coated intake and exhaust components, high-flow catalytic converters, and a MoTeC ECU tune, paired with a six-speed manual gearbox. Handling is sharpened by Öhlins suspension with a Supple Road setup, while Brembo big brakes provide serious stopping power.
Inside, black leather dominates, complemented by Recaro Touring seats with suede-mix inserts, a leather-wrapped Prototipo steering wheel with yellow stitching, classic-style gauges, square-weave carpeting, and a modern navigation stereo with upgraded subwoofer.
Originally specified at over $587,000 before donor car costs, this low-mileage example represents one of the finest expressions of Singer’s now-closed Classic Services program—an iconic sports car redefined for the modern era.
