1983 Porsche 930S (935 look) Porsche Sonderwunsch Department (Porsche Exclusive)

Porsche Sonderwunsch department created this masterpiece in 1983 on chassis 930 (engine No. 6700689) and exterior appearance 935 for Mansour Ojjeh as a gift for the fact that the latter, a year earlier, took a significant part in financing the project 2623 worth 6 million dollars, because Ron Dennis, the owner of the McLaren team, at that time, did not have such funds. McLaren offered to pay for this project with a stake in the business and Mansour accepted. Thus the great trio of McLaren-TAG-Porsche was formed.

For his special 930, Mansour Ojjeh opted for the standard 3.3-liter turbo engine with an increased power package of 380 hp. Maximum torque rose to 490 Nm (361 lb /ft). Additional equipment included: reinforced body in control points, reinforced stabilizers, lowered suspension with tuned springs and shock absorbers, Recaro leather sports seats, dashboard trimmed with precious woods, central locking.

In 1984, inspired by this model, its version in a single copy was prepared by the American dealer RUF – 935 RSR Flachbau. The machine was made on the basis of the 930 BTR for an American customer.
