In this episode of WEC ICONS, we are introduced to a Porsche 911 GT3R LMGT3, which debuted in the 2024 FIA World Endurance Championship. Sporting the pink Iron Dames livery (#85) and a green number sticker, this car is based on Porsche’s road-going 911.

Run by Manthey Racing, it features a 4.2L six-cylinder boxer engine, six-speed sequential gearbox, and a front-mounted fuel tank to balance the rear-engine layout. The car’s aerodynamics are adjustable, primarily via the rear wing, allowing teams to optimize downforce for different tracks.

Despite extensive modifications for GT3 racing, it retains the classic 911 silhouette. Quick-change components, like front splitters and rear diffusers, make pit stops efficient. The steering wheel houses paddle shifters, hydraulic clutch control, traction control, ABS settings, radio, pit limiter, and even a “joker” button for secret functions.
