Yuri and Jakub, the hosts of TheStraightPipes, took the brand-new Porsche 992.2 GT3 Touring with a manual transmission out for a proper shakedown, splitting time between Toronto Motorsport Park and public roads.

Power comes from a 4.0-liter naturally aspirated flat-six engine with 502 hp and 331 lb-ft of torque, revving to 9,000 RPM. Paired with a six-speed manual and launch control, acceleration is immediate and aggressive.

The Touring retains a natural exhaust note—no artificial audio enhancement. The sound is raw and mechanical, fitting the car’s character. Steering, grip, and balance remain benchmarks, making it extremely effective on track.

The car starts at mid-$190,000s and can go higher if you add more options. At this cost, it competes with supercars, but its principal distinction is offering a high-revving, naturally aspirated engine with a manual transmission—something increasingly rare.
